PURA ROBLES LUNA

Pura Robles Luna, 86, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her residence. A Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Daniel Olivan of Segunda Iglesia Bautista Church officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount cemetery. Pura was born on December 22, 1923 in Kosse, TX to Ricardo M. and Maria (Quintania) Robles. She was a loving homemaker for her eleven children and a loving wife. Pura married Ignacio Luna on September 14, 1953 in Ballinger, TX. Pura is survived by her husband, Ignacio Luna; daughters; Mary Samarripa and husband, Alex; Velma Morua and husband, Greg; Eva Luna Davila and husband, Sergio; Connie Ortiz, Martha Arroyo, Adela Vigil and husband, Johnny all of San Angelo; Hortencia Juarez and husband, Leandro of Mesquite, TX; her sons; George R. Luna and wife, Annette of Floresville, Lorenzo Luna and wife, Irma of San Angelo and Ignacio Luna, Jr. of Garland, TX and a sister, Irene Sanchez of Irving, TX also surviving Pura are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ruben Luna, Chris Morua, Omar Davila, Alex Samarripa, Greg Morua, Sergio Davila, Edward Luna and George Luna. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to grandson, Christopher Morua for always being there for his grandmother.
