RAMON P. MARTINEZ

Ramon P. Martinez, 79, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at his residence. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Ramon was born on August 31, 1928 in Brownwood, TX to Candelario and Margarita Martinez. He married Crescencia Banda on November 8, 1950 in Snyder, TX. Ramon worked for the City of San Angelo as a Truck Driver. Ramon is survived by his wife, Crescencia Martinez of San Angelo; daughter, Velia Gonzales of Crane, TX; son, Ray and Lucy Martinez of Monahans, TX; son, Mario And Asenet Martinez of San Angelo, TX; sister, Mencha Sanchez of San Angelo, TX; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Nicolas Martinez, Marc Martinez, Justin Houk, Frank Banda, Johnny Banda and Joe Banda.
