Raul J. Biera, 85, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, in San Angelo. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2019 and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2018, at the funeral home. Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Friday January 11, 2019 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Josh Gray, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Biera was born October 30, 1933 in Miles. He was a lifelong resident of San Angelo. Raul married Carolina Contreras on August 23, 1952 in San Angelo. She preceded him in death. He worked for Talley Press as a printer for 53 years retiring in 1998. Raul was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Lupe and Joe Larry; two brothers, Manuel and Rudolph; a granddaughter, Beatrice and a great granddaughter, Kendall. Survivors include his two daughters, Adela Kin and husband Gary of Garland and Bertha Balcom of San Angelo; six granddaughters, Jennifer, Nichol, Bianca, Jacqueline, Jessica and Rebecca; 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a sister, Adela Vasquez of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews.
