RAY O. EVANS

Ray O. Evans, 91 of Crane died Friday December 28, 2007 at an area nursing home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday December 31, 2007 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Nathaniel Hankins, of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Ray was born August 16, 1916 in Mason County, Texas to John and Murrell Burney Evans. He married Thelma Patterson in 1939 and they moved to San Angelo in 1972. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his daughter; Ann Armstrong of San Angelo, his granddaughter; Diana Browning and husband, Richard of Odessa, his grandsons; Evan Armstrong and his wife, Kathy of Waco, Drew Armstrong and his wife, Jennifer of Trophy Club, Tx; His great grandchildren; Lauren Browning, Davis Browning, Jackson Armstrong, Madeline Armstrong and Galvin Armstrong Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan Armstrong, Richard Browning and Davis Browning. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Ray's name be given to Home Hospice of Odessa, located at 516 North Texas, Odessa, TX 79761 or the charity of your choice.
