Raymond T Holland

Dr. Raymond T. Holland 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by people who loved him Wednesday June 22, 2016 at a local care center. He was born in Miles TX. on March 1, 1929 to Julian and Mattie Ruth Holland. He graduated from Ballinger High School. He served in the US Air Force spending two years in Cheyenne, WY and two years in Germany. After the services he married in Ballinger, Billie Hallmark in 1955. Having a good 61 years together, they lived in Ballinger, Texas City, La Marque, San Antonio and San Angelo. He graduated from Chiropractic College in San Antonio and worked as a Doctor of Chiropractic for 35 years. His hobbies include photography and art painting even winning a first place with a painting. In his younger years he enjoyed model airplanes and making his own planes. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Norma Shepard. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday June 26, 2016 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Darryl Smith and Charles Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Miles Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Raymond is survived by wife, Billie J Holland of San Angelo.
