REBECCA LOUISE SCALISE

Rebecca Louise Scalise, 79, passed away Monday March 10, 2008 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Angelo Bible Church with Pastor Jim Stanley officiating. Rebecca was born August 21, 1928 in Kenedy, Texas to Luis and Elvira Gonzales. She married her loving late husband Otis Joe Scalise. He saw Rebecca as a loving mother and devoted wife. Otis loved her very much. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Scalise, of San Angelo, Louis Scalise and wife Nysa of San Angelo, Oty Scalise and wife Karen of Dumas, TX; John Scalise and wife Faye of Amarillo, TX, Frank Scalise of San Angelo,TX; daughters are Mary Jane Harper and husband Steve, of Amarillo; Theresa Ellard and husband, Greg of San Antonio, TX; Imagene Harbin and husband, Randy of San Angelo; and Debbie Scalise of San Angelo; Sisters, Ruth Cornell of San Angelo, Lucille Phelps of Tennessee and Sarah Lewis and husband, Jewel of Texarkana, TX. She also has twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren and honored famiy friend Phillip Dalton of Houston. Rebecca will be remembered and missed by numerous friends. Rebecca loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. Her favorite Bible verse was (John 3:4), "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of Triumph Hospital and Community Medical Center.
