Ricardo F. Nuncio, 73, of San Angelo passed away Friday, April 21, 2006 in a local nursing home. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Resurrections will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Quirino Cornejo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Ricardo was born November 11, 1932 in San Angelo to Enrique and Elvira F. Nuncio Sr. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is a native of San Angelo, was enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard and was employed at Ethicon and Sears. He enjoyed helping his sons work on their cars, as well as being a perfectionist at everything he did. He will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raul Nuncio and Henry Nuncio, grandchildren Emily Hale, Ricky Banda and Richard John Nuncio III. Survivors are Wife; Mary Nuncio of San Angelo, children; Janie Stapleton and husband, Jerry of Hephzibah, Georgia; Rose Walburn and husband, Randy; Richard Nuncio Jr., Rachel N. Miles and husband, Richard all of Denver, Colorado; Tony Nuncio of Burbank, CA; Brenda Dobin and husband, Kurt of Portland, Oregon; Pete Nuncio of San Angelo Ricardo also has two brothers Oscar Nuncio and wife, Sophia of San Angelo; Pedro Nuncio and wife, Margaret of San Antonio. He also leaves two sister Rita Nuncio Barnes and husband, Charles of San Angelo. Maria Nuncio and husband; Michael of San Antonio. Nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and surrounded by nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the staff of Baptist Memorial Center for the loving care provided for Ricardo.
