Richard W Meyers

Richard "Dick" W. Meyers, 81, of San Angelo, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 5, 1933 to Frank and Kathryn (Pilgram) Meyers in Indiana, PA and grew up in Williamstown, WV. Richard served his country for 21 years in the Security Service for Air Force. On January 7, 1963 he married Janice Warembath on January 7, 1963 in Hitchen, Herts, England. After retirement, Richard and Janice lived in San Angelo, Texas. He was a member of Lake View Bible Church. He was preceded in death by mother, Kathryn Marie Meyers, father, Frank Otto Meyers, son, Terence F Meyers, two brothers and a sister. Richard is survived by his loving spouse of 52 years Janice Eve Meyers of San Angelo, daughter, Sharon (Scott) Williams, granddaughter, Krystal (Aaron) Nutt, granddaughter, Megan (Brady) Walker, great-grandson, Nathan Nutt all of Dallas, TX, brother Charles (Linda) Meyers of WV, sisters; Doris (Tom) Anderson of Indiana, Betty Lowe of Ohio and Ruth Skrzynski of MI along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Lake View Bible Church with Pastor Scooter McCurdy, officiating. Burial will take place in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
