Richard Roy Tucker died on September 11, 2018. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marynelle Lewis Tucker and his daughter Pamela Tucker Bonner; his parents, brother and sister, and many other close family members and friends. Richard was a resident of San Angelo for most of his almost 92 years. For more than 30 years he was employed by Terrill Manufacturing Company, serving as President in the last decade before his retirement. He attended Lakeview High School and San Angelo College, and served in the United States Navy on an LST during World War II. He was a long time member of First Christian Church, serving in many offices and capacities. His love for and expertise in woodworking has left a legacy of priceless items-from furniture, cabinetry and other items which his family and friends will treasure for years to come. A Memorial Service will be celebrated for Richard on October 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of San Angelo. All who knew him are welcome to attend the service and the reception following in Fellowship Hall of the church. In lieu flowers friends may contribute to the Richard Tucker Memorial Fund at First Christian Church of San Angelo or to their favorite veteran's organization. He is survived by his daughter Susan Williams of San Angelo and five grandchildren-Trudy Bonner Cox and husband Ken of Arlington; Drs. Richard and Aleta Bonner of Belton; Trey Bonner and wife Cynthia of Grand Prairie; Dr. Dennis Todd Williams and wife Stephanie of San Angelo; Dr. Richard Williams and wife Tammy of Reno, NV. His fifteen great grandchildren include Amanda Hopkins, Allison and husband Cole Miller of Grand Prairie, Avery Hopkins and Katie Cox of Denton, Paige Williams of Sherman, Ellie Williams of Pottsboro, Steven Bonner, Ethan Williams; Jamon, Justice, and Noah Gideon of San Angelo; Martha Pierce and husband Dr. Jeremy Kinser of Iowa City, IA; Bill and wife Donya Pierce of Austin; Hayden and Reese Williams of Reno, NV. He loved his many nieces and nephews, including Jerry and Candice Richards and Terry and Sandy Clingan of San Angelo, and Sam Whitten, Jr. of Stephenville; Linda and Mike Anderson and Susie and Lupe Mendez of California and Andy and Vicki Tucker of Montgomery, TX.
