Richard Ybarra, 54, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by family. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mr. Gilbert Cabajal, Richards father-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Ybarra was born January 19, 1964 in San Angelo. He married Violet Cabajal on July 4, 1993. Richard has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. He was a owner/operator of Richard's landscaping. Richard was an avid Dallas Cowboys and professional wrestling fan. He was a wonderful "Grandpa" and "Popo" to his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Violet Ybarra of the home; six sons, Baldemar Fernandez, Adam Fernandez and wife Marisela, Richard Ybarra and wife Mandy, Andrew Fernandez and wife Lesley, Benjamin Ybarra and fiance Jennifer Sanchez, and Shawn Ybarra and fiancé Kalya all of San Angelo; three daughters, Jennifer Fernandez and husband Patrick Bradley, Lisa Ybarra and husband Arnold Martinez and Andrea Fernandez all of San Angelo; and 36 grandchildren who made his world. Richard is also survived is his step mom, Norma Tatum; three brothers, Frederico Ybarra, Carlos Ybarra, and Oscar Ybarra; two sisters, Dora Ybarra and Gloria Ybarra; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilbert and Antonia Carbajal. He is preceded in death by his father, Frederico Ybarra; a sister, Debra Ybarra; a brother, Fred Ybarra; , and his mother, Carrie Ybarra.
