Ricky Lee Carson

Ricky Lee Carson, 48, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, in San Angelo. Memorial services are 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Carson was born March 28, 1969 in Big Spring. He has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. He married Stephanie Hawkins on April 15, 2015 in San Angelo. Ricky was a CDL Truck Driver and a member of the Maranatha Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Dr. W.T. Hickman. Ricky was a very friendly and was loved by many. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Carson; two brothers, Charles L. Coleman and Lawrence E. Douglass. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Carson of the home; his mother, Dorothy Walker of Lubbock; six brothers, James Carson, Johnny Carson and wife Carol and Benny Carson all of San Angelo, Larry Carson and wife Tina and Leon Coleman and wife Evelyn all of Amarillo, and Edward Coleman of Lubbock; three sisters, Carolyn Dilworth and husband Ed of San Angelo, Lena Mae Reed of Austin and Sarah Brightmon of Los Angeles, California; god-daughter, Makaria Hearn of San Angelo; special nieces and nephew, Justice Jackson, Sharonda Carson, Samon Bienaime, Dasni Bienaime and De'Yonte Brawley; and two special friends, Royal Brawley of Big Spring and Greg Beavers of Amarillo.
