Ricky Wayne Goltl Sr., 58 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Monday November 25, 2013, at a local care center. Family Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday November 29, 2013, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Saturday November 30, 2013, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Sandra Gray of Solid Rock Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ricky was born July 3, 1955 in San Angelo to Ernest Clarence and Annis Jeannette (Wilkins) Goltl. He was a transmission rebuilder at Gray's Transmissions for many years. He will be remembered for his love of life, as he never met a stranger. He loved his family, friends, and those that crossed his path. Ricky loved to ride motorcycles, being outdoors and his children. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and champion of the downtrodden. He will certainly be missed by all. Pallbearers will be Nathan Gray, Gary Gray, Travis Gray, Joe Costilla, Allen Parker and Moe Jimenez. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Scotty and Randy Goltl, brother in law; Ray Ellis, step-daughter; Nichole Lohse, and grandson; James Cornett Jr. Survivors include his children; Ray Bailey Goltl and wife, Holly of San Angelo, Sonia Goltl of Menard, Ricky Goltl Jr. and wife, Cristie, Crystal Goltl, Brandon Goltl, sister; Cindy Williams and husband, James, sister in law; Tina Goltl all of San Angelo; step children; Trinity Coleman, Terry Gage, Sherry, Jimmy and Cody Lohse, April, Jamie King and Steven Skeen, thirty-two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and the woman who shared the last years of his life; Nancy Chappell and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank his extended family at Gray's Transmissions and C & R Services and the Dr.'s nurses and staff at Shannon 5 North. Donations in Ricky's memories may be given to West Texas Boys Ranch.
