Alicia Gonzales Rios, 83 of San Angelo died Saturday April 19, 2008 at an area hospital. Rosary service will be 7:00 PM Sunday April 20, 2008 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Monday April 21, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Herrera, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Alicia was born May 5, 1924 in Ciudad Acuna to Enriquez and Herminia Cortinas Gonzales. She married Guadalupe Rios on November 30, 1943 in Ciudad Acuna and they shared 64 wonderful years together. She was a housewife and a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Herminia Gonzales; a daughter, Carmelita Rios; a son, Mario Rios; several brothers and sister and one grandson. She is survived by her husband; Guadalupe Rios; five sons, Hector Rios and wife, Gloria, Rudy Rios all of San Angelo, Juan Rios and wife, Nelda of Grand Prairie, TX., Ruben Rios and wife, Pat of San Angelo and Joe Rios and wife, Rita of Hope Mills N.C.; two daughters; Mary Clayton and Alicia Rios, both of San Angelo; a brother, Homer Gonzales of Ciudad Acuna and two sisters, Concha Gonzales of Rosita, Mexico and Lupina Gonzales of Chicago. IL; 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren Pallbearers will be Hector Rios Jr., Raquel Rios, Juan Rios Jr., Ruben Rios Jr., Mario Rios Jr., Ashlea Clayton and Joe Rios Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Russell Clayton, Richard Cardenas and Gabriel Rios
