Robert Bollier

Robert Arlon Bollier, 79, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2023 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with a family visitation from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be 10:00 Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Hospice Chaplain Mike McCravy. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Bollier was born on August 20, 1943 in Ballinger to Walter James and Ida Mae Singleton Bollier. He was the youngest of five children. Robert attended schools in Ballinger and Junction. He married Bitty Marie Melton on April 27, 1970 in Ysleta. Three days after he married Bitty, he entered the Border Patrol Academy. Robert completed the academy and reported to duty on August 14, 1970 in El Paso as a Border Patrol Agent. After serving 30 years, he retired as Patrol Agent in Charge in Midland on May 3, 2000. At this time Robert and Bitty retired to San Angelo and Robert started Bollier Home Inspection services in the San Angelo area. In 2016 he fully retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Marion Fred Bollier; and two sisters, Sharon Elaine Tinsley and Ella Yvonne Wimberly.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bitty of the home; five children, Bobby Bollier and wife Donna of Llano, Bubba Bollier of Llano, Clint Bollier and wife Rachel of San Angelo, Kay Kay Griffith of Llano, and Brad Bollier and wife Michelle of Lubbock; a brother Cleatus Bollier of Kerrville; seven grandchildren, Brandon Bollier, Bradley Bollier, Austin Bollier, Clayton Earl, Colt Bollier, Justin Wallace and Tyler Wallace; and two great-grandchildren, Layla Bollier and Keyli Bollier.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Bollier, Bradley Bollier, Austin Bollier, Clayton Earl, Colton Bollier, and Corbin Adams.
