Robert "Bob" Cox

Robert "Bob" Cox of San Angelo passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Meadow Creek Nursing Center. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be at 1:30 pm Monday January 12, 2012 in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Bob was born December 14, 1935 in Urbana, Ohio to Romanus and Nora (VanHaussen) Cox. He grew up and graduated from Urbana High School in 1955. Then he joined the United States Air Force in 1955.He served in Puerto Rico and Vietnam retiring after 20 years at Goodfellow Air Force in San Angelo. Bob married Pat Cox on November 7, 1992 in San Angelo, Texas. After retirement, Bob liked remodeling old homes and did wood working. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings. Bob is survived by his wife Pat Cox of San Angelo; special sister, Lucille Fisher of Urbana, Ohio; brothers, Don Cox of San Angelo and Jim Cox of Tool, Texas; Pat's son, Robby Thornton of San Angelo; special niece, Pam Linton and her husband Greg of San Angelo; and many nieces and nephews.
