Obituary will be updated with service times and dates. Bob Downing, 67, of San Angelo passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at his residence. Robert Gene "Bob" Downing was born on November 30, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to Willard and Gladys Downing. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, dove hunting and camping. He loved to entertain friends with his BBQ's and fish fry gatherings. Bob was a bail bonds man for 30 plus years for Texas Bail Bonds, through his profession he made many many friends. Bob was preceded in death by a son, Danny Downing. He is survived by a son Cody Bob Downing and Marcie of Canyon Lake; special friend Jo Rackler of San Angelo; step-daughters, Kinsey Benavides and Courtney Mooney of San Angelo; sister Patricia Clark and Dwight of Cumming, GA; brother Mike Pool and Kathy of Centralia, IL; grandchildren Austin, River, Remi and Joseph Brazeal; nephews Michael Pool and Matthew Clark and his beloved dog, Josie Wales. We'll miss you "Waylon".
