Robert P. Ramirez

Robert P. Ramirez, 74 of San Angelo was called home by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at an area care center. Rosary will be 7:00pm Friday December 21, 2012 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am Saturday December 22, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father David Herrera, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Robert was born January 21, 1938 in San Angelo to Salome and Jesusita P. Ramirez. He worked at Strain Brothers Inc. for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Marines. Robert was a lifetime resident of San Angelo and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Edward Ramirez and a grandson, Robert Leonardo Ramirez. Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends. Survivors include his sons; Robert R. Ramirez, Jr., Gilbert Ramirez, both of North Richland Hills, Tx., Albert Ramirez and wife, Marina of Eden, TX., and daughters; Gloria Cady and husband, Scott of Midland, Tx., and Christine Carrasco of San Angelo; thirteen grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to give special thanks to the Dr.'s and staff of Arbor Terrace, Odyssey Hospice and to Dr. Untalan. Always in our hearts, Daddy
