ROBERT " BOB " WOOLDRIDGE, JR.

Robert 'œBob'� Wooldridge Jr., 88, of San Angel passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in San Angelo. There will be no funeral services and interment will be private at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Robert Wooldridge, Jr. was born in San Angelo to Robert Wooldridge and Oyet Eanne Craig Wooldridge on October 8, 1921. He married Celia Flores on August 5, 1994 in San Angelo. He graduated from the University of Arizona. He was a veteran of World War II, serving and retiring from the United States Air Force. Robert Wooldridge, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, nephew Herschel Carmichael, brother-in-law Archie Carmichael, favorite aunt Corene Gober, and first wife Fran Van Dyke Wooldridge. Robert Wooldridge, Jr. is survived by wife, Celia Wooldridge, sister Melba Carmichael, nephew Robert Carmichael, niece Charlotte Theis, and stepchildren Mark Anthony Ahola of Dallas, Amy Ahola Robles of San Angelo, and Amanda Rangel of Irving. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of San Angelo. The family of Robert Wooldridge wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Shannon Medical Center, as well as the ER staff, for the care during his critical time; to Park Plaza for the special care by its nursing staff; to Hospice of San Angelo who treated with comfort and loving care.
