Roberto G. Hernandez

Roberto G. Hernandez, 72, of Ozona, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, in San Angelo. Robert G. Hernandez was born in Ozona to Mr. & Mrs. Luis Hernandez on October 8, 1946. He went to school in San Angelo and married Graciela Luna Samaniego on July 18, 1969 in San Angelo. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He remained active in the VFW. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Luis, Arturo and George Hernandez. Pallbearers will be Simon Hernandez, Ricky Rios, Demas & Peter Garcia, Alex Saldivar and Leandro Hernandez, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Cipriano Fuentes. Robert is survived by his wife, Graciela, children; Leandro, Simon, Milena, Modesta, Vicente Hernandez, sister, Sylvia Reyes, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Prayer service will be held at 6pm Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday, October 29, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Hermano Franco of Templo El Calvario and Pastor Luis Soto officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. The family of Roberto wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Cheriku and Kindred Hospice.
