On the morning of April 28th, Robert Rubio Villarreal slipped quietly and peacefully away to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Roberto was born on May 19, 1940 in Rocksprings, TX to Benigno and Maria (Rubio) Villarreal. Roberto lived a wonderful life full of love and laughter, tears and trials that make a life meaningful and complete. He leaves behind a loving wife of 53 years, Hilda M. Villarreal, his eight children and their spouses; Leti Little and husband, Walter of Clarksville, AR, Irma Villarreal of San Angelo, Mary Gilbert and husband, John of Katy TX., Sara Carter and husband, Robert of Tulsa, OK, Lisa Butler and husband, Jim of Eagle River, AK, Dora Villarreal of Odessa, Robert Villarreal and wife, Kristin of Midland and Rudy Villarreal of New York City, NY, thirteen grandchildren; Ian Macias, Roman Carter, Seth Villarreal, Michael Gilbert, Amber Davidson, Taylor Carter, Faith Ann Carter, Hilary Butler, Jacob Butler, Ana Gilbert and Graciela Gilbert, Hope Villarreal, Benjamin Villarreal and three great grandchildren; Cameron, Nicole and Diane Carter. In addition to his loving immediate family, he leaves three brothers, four sisters and mother-in-law along with many wonderful sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed and dearly loved and always remembered in our thoughts and prayers. Memorial rosary will be 7:00pm Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Monsignor Maurice Voity, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.
