Rodolfo O. Chapa, 86, passed away on April 9, 2018, in San Angelo. Rosary Services will be 6:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Foylona, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Chapa was born December 27, 1931 in Mexico. Rodolfo was a lifelong resident of San Angelo. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rodolfo was veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lorenzo Chapa Jr., and Pete O. Chapa. Survivors include two sons, Joe Chapa and Edward Chapa both of San Antonio; two daughters, Anna Gonzalez of San Angelo and Leticia Chapa of San Antonio; six sisters, Olivia Chapa of the home, Elena Balli, Edith Sanchez and Elizabeth Martinez all of San Angelo, Rebecca Lopez of Azle and Christina Soto of Ft. Worth; two brothers, Johnny Chapa of San Angelo and George Chapa of Azle; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and close to 100 nieces and nephews.
