Rogelio P. Perez, 94, of San Angelo, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 20, 1923 to Librado and Eulogia (Perez) Perez in Villa Union, Coah. Mexico. Rogelio worked as a rancher in the Ballinger area for his whole life. On October 22, 1949 he married Beatriz Garza in Villa Union, Coah., Mexico. He loved hunting, fishing, cowboy movies, country music and dancing with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife and four brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Maria Valdez of San Angelo, daughter, Rosa Smith of Early, son, Mario Perez of Bastrop, son, Juan R. (Irma) Perez of Ballinger, daughter, Merida (Abel) Cuellar of Del Valle, TX, daughter, Edna Beatrice (Carlos De Jesus) Perez of Hutto, daughter, Nidya Flores of Round Rock, son, Gerardo (Cory ) Perez of St. Louis, MO, son, Jimmy Perez of Bastrop, 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a brother, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Alfonso Valdez, David Dillard, Jimmy Perez, Adrian Cuellar, Christopher Morgan and Mario Perez. Visitation is 10:00am to 8:00pm with family present from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday February 26, 2018 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00pm Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
