Rogelio Venegas, Jr.

Rogelio Venegas, Jr., 62, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Viewing will be from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Venegas was born on November 5, 1961 in Del Rio to Rogelio and Leticia Venegas. After attending Del Rio High School, Rogelio joined the U.S. Army and later the Army National Guard serving over 20 years before he was honorably discharged. Rogelio worked at McCoy's Building Supply, Reece Albert Construction, Concho Valley Transport, and was a bus driver for TLCA. other employees would call him "Old School" when it came to technology.

He was about everything outdoors; hunting, motorcycles, guns, and his best friend, Bo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rogelio is survived by a daughter, Christie Venegas of Germany; his twin sister, a Leticia Martinez of San Angelo; two nieces, Lisa Sanchez and husband Jesus and Vanessa Torres all of San Angelo; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
