Ronald Evans

Ronnie Evans, 82, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Memorial services will be planned at a later date. Arrangement services are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans was born on September 20, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina to Roy and Mildred Evans. Ronnie was raised in Odessa. Ronnie was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association, PRCA. He was a bull rider and rancher in his early years. He then had a very long career in the oil and gas industry until he retired. Ronnie married Judy Stout on April 26, 1963. They would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this year.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and their beloved son, Kevin Dean Evans.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his daughter, Kelly Childers and her husband Tommy; a daughter-in-law, Chelli Evans; a brother, Lance Evans; five grandchildren, Gary Lucas, Josh Little, Kristin Bone, T R Childers, and Jake Childers; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
