Ronald Andrew Taylor

Ronald "Ronnie" Andrew Taylor, 68, of San Angelo, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at local hospital. Family visitation will be held 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2016, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on 2:00 pm Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Joe Bourgeois of West Side Baptist, officiating. Burial will take place at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. He was born on March 4, 1948 to Albert and Dorothy (Jerdan) Taylor in El Paso, TX. He graduated from Divide High School, class of 1967. He also attended Ranger Jr. College. Ronnie retired from Swift after 20 years. On December 17, 1971 he married Connie Simmons in Sweetwater. Ronnie and Connie lived in San Angelo, Texas. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents. Ronnie is survived by his loving spouse of 44 years Connie Taylor, two daughters; Stefanie and her husband Michael Dye and Andrea Rodgers all of San Angelo, son, Jonathan Taylor of Petal, MS. Grandchildren are Michelle, Tifanie and Lance Dye all of San Angelo, Lane Rodgers of Groesbeck, Ashley, Kolby, Madyson Rodgers all of San Angelo, Tori Adams of Sweetwater, Tyler Taylor Belton and Haley Taylor both of Petal, MS, and one special great granddaughter yet to be, Braelynn Nicole, brothers; Mike Taylor of Garland, Kenneth Taylor of Abilene and a sister, Cathy Thompson of Coleman, numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
