Ronna Jean Holloway Click, 79, of San Angelo passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, surrounded by her daughters Karyn and Kim, in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2022, Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with her cousin Rev. Henry "Sonny" Davis, a retired Pentecostal minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Ronna was born May 10, 1942 in San Angelo to Dorothy Loualice Spradlen and Harold Loraine Spradlen. Ronna attended San Angelo Public Schools up to her senior year wherein she graduated from Ballinger High School in 1959. Her first job was a telephone operator for Bell, but her true passion and calling was in education. She received her teaching degree from Angelo State University in 1980 touching the lives of children in Greenwood ISD, Irion County ISD and Goliad Elementary from which she retired.
She loved to travel and accomplished her bucket list item to visit all 50 states then continued on traveling internationally. When she wasn't traveling, she enjoyed spending time with family and keeping everyone on their toes with her clever antics. Her witty personality carried her through her final days.
She is survived by her daughters, Karyn Brown and husband Marlin of San Angelo, Kim McKinnie and her husband Mike of Haslet; grandchildren, Chadd Brown and wife Shelby of Wall, Tamra Kelly and husband David of Wall, Jadyn Frasca and husband Joe of Franklin, Massachusetts, Micah McKinnie of Haslet, Leah Whorton and husband Shane of Keller and Dana Hunka and husband Jacob of El Reno, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Isaac, Briley, Saegun, Brody, Drew, Mavrik, Molly, Hendrix, Daxtyn, J.D., and Elliana Renay.
Pallbearers for the service will be Matt Kimbrell, Chadd Brown, David Kelly, Mike McKinnie and Marlin Brown.
A special thanks from the family to the physicians, nurses, neighbors, and all who cared for her and loved her deeply.
