ROSE G. NUNEZ

Rose G. Nunez, 81, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at her residence. A family visitation will be from 4:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am Friday, January 29, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Israel Flores of Bethel Assembly officiating. Inurnment Services will be at 3:00pm Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Rose was born on April 26, 1928 to V.D. and Hilaria (Ordas) Gomez in Marlin, Texas. She married Jose G. Nunez on March 25, 1986 in Los Angeles, California and was a caregiver. Rose is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Priscilla Hernandez, Delfina Morales, and Dolores Gutierrez; brothers, Jesse Gomez and Natividad Escalante; aunt, Maria Diaz; mother-in-law, Jobita Reyes; and mother-in-law, Maria Felix Guzman. Rose is survived by her husband Jose Nunez; sister, Connie Cruz and her husband Paul; daughter, Irene Hernandez both of California; son, David Reyes and his wife Esther; daughters, Linda Pinedo and her husband Ruben; Yolanda Carrillo and her husband Johnny; Ruth Mar and her husband Juan; Dianne Vega and her husband the late Emilio; Roxann Nunez and Benny Davila; all of San Angelo. Twenty-one grandchildren; Thirty-five great-grandchildren; and Four great great-grandchildren. Rose was beautiful, loving, compassionate, and forgiving to all who were lucky enough to cross her path. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Known as 'œNana'� to many and loved by all. There is not one person she cared for that she did not help in some kind of way and for that we all thank her. The family would like to thank Mary Cheek and Cindy Baca of Hospice of San Angelo and special grandson Jessie Noriega.
