Ruben C. Alvarado, 47, of San Angelo passed away on March 8, 2015 at his residence. Viewing will be from 10 am to 8 pm on Friday, March 13th, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 14th, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Bruno Aguilar, officiating, followed by cremation. Ruben was born on March 7, 1968 in French Camp, CA to Fidel and Frances Gonzales. He graduated from Central High School with the Class of '87. Ruben worked as a salesman for collision repair with various companies including locally Concho Supply, O'Reilley's Bumper, Concho Collision, Honda of San Angelo, Centex of Austin and Southwest Bumper Exchange of Austin. Ruben was a faithful Texas Longhorn Fan and will best be remembered for his Hook'em Horn's gesture. Ruben's love in life beside the Longhorn's were first his sons and grandson. Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Frances Gonzales. Ruben is survived by his son, Trent Alvarado of San Angelo, son, Isaac Alvarado of San Antonio, grandson, Jude Alvarado of San Angelo, his beloved best friend and girlfriend, Anna Garcia of San Angelo, birth mother, Rose Mary Casares of Wenatchee, WA, sisters, Yolanda Montoya, Linda Montoya, brother, Andy Montoya all of San Francisco, CA, brother, Jesse and wife, Tina Martinez of San Angelo along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the following families for all the love and support shown to the family during this difficult time; the Harvey, Orozco, Morales, Carrasco, Martinez, Estrada and the Vargas families along with too many others to mention.
