RUDY P. GUTIERREZ

Rudy P. Gutierrez, 72, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2005 in a local nursing home. Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2005 at Sacred Heart, with Father Maurice Voity officiating. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Rudy was born June 25, 1933 in San Angelo, to Luis and Rosa Gutierrez. Rudy always had a love for cooking. He worked at the Cactus Hotel as head Chef for numerous years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Rosa Gutierrez, brothers Henry Gutierrez, Rudolph Gutierrez, sister Julie Ramirez. Survivors are: Daughter:Sandy Brooks and husband, Kelly Son:Ramon Gutierrez and wife, Irma Brothers:Joe Gutierrez Emilio Gutierrez Both of San Angelo Sisters:Lupe Prieto Of Lubbock Delfina Gutierrez Of Del Rio Anita Gutierrez of San Angelo Grandchildren:Gisselle, Yafuey, Giltza, Gilthzeely, Jose Ramon, Sarah Kay, Joshua Brook. Pallbearers will be Carlos Partida, David Gutierrez, Ramon Gutierrez, Luis Aguilar, Liebermann Aguilar and Enrique Aguilar. All the care and support given to Rudy, his family and friends, by the staff on Div. I at Baptist Memorial is sincerely appreciated. Rudy's family sends a special Thanks to all of you. We also acknowledge to Hospice of San Angelo, our gratitude and sincere Thanks for being there for Rudy during his illness and in his time of need. Do not cry... For I am not lost I have just taken a different path; In my journey Death has not become of me; For I am not dead I am only contemplating life No tears will be shed For there is no sadness Only through joy; Will these tears be accepted. So, don't see my death as a goodbye; But a message that life comes and goes For life has come for me; But I am not gone I am merely waiting and watching... For...the unexpected.
