Ruth Elaine (Clingerman) Clingerman

Ruth Clingerman, 82, of San Angelo passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 in San Angelo.

Mrs. Clingerman was born on February 1, 1940 in Cumberland, Maryland to Ira and Nellie Browning Clingerman. She graduated from Everett Area High School in Everett, Pennsylvania in 1957. Ruth married Junior Harry Clingerman in 1969, he passed away on April 22, 1981. She lived most of her adult life in Pinckard, Alabama. Ruth was a cashier at Walmart, a tester at Ansell Inc., and worked at Sony. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, visiting with friends, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Clingerman; a daughter, Barbara Jean Clingerman; and two brothers, Russell Clingerman and John Clingerman.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Margaret Van-Waveren and husband Rodney of San Angelo and Kate Ballard of Bay City; a sister, Rhonda K. Woodward and husband Robert of Bluffton, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
