Sally Jo Eisenbeck Rogers, 91, resident of Rutledge Road, wife of Charles Joseph Rogers, Jr., passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Born April 16, 1933, in Rockdale, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Stork Eisenbeck. Mrs. Rogers was a graduate of Lake View High School and the University of Oklahoma. She also received her degree in Elementary Education from Lander University. Mrs. Rogers was a volunteer with the Piedmont Reading Council and a volunteer grandmother with Connie Maxwell Children's Home.
She was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Anderson. Mrs. Rogers was also a member of the Tarantella Dance Club, Greenwood Dance Club, and The Club. She enjoyed many happy years in the bridge club.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 67 years are her children, Charles Joseph "Joe" Rogers, III and wife Pam of Greenwood, SC, Robert Michael Rogers and wife Marsha of Fairhope, AL, Stephen Bruce Rogers and wife Stephanie of Kalaheo, HI and Tracy Rogers Bowen husband Dave of Fripp Island, SC, Beverly Rogers Taylor and husband Will of Greenwood, SC and Christopher Allan Rogers and wife Rhonda of Greenville, SC; sisters, Helen Roberts, Jeanne Ransom, and Marjorie Henson; brother, Lynn Eisenbeck; and a host of beloved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eisenbeck; and great-grandson, Dylan Taylor.
The family will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 5-7 Thursday evening.
A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Protestant Cemetery in Rowena under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
