Sally Ann Torres, 54, of San Angelo passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel in San Angelo with rosary being said at 6:00 PM. Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Robert Lee with Father Bala Anthony Govindu, officiating. Burial will follow at Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Sally was born in San Angelo to Nicanor and Amanda Maldonado Torres on September 14, 1967. Sally was raised by her aunts Isabel Torres and Estolia Barron. She went to school in Robert Lee at Robert Lee ISD and then later attended Lakeview High School in San Angelo. Sally had many talents, she worked for various businesses, baking, cake decorating, cooking, and cleaning.
Sally is preceded in death by her aunt, Isabel Torres; her father, Nicanor Torres; her niece, Moniquea Marie Torres; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sally is survived by her sister, Shirley Ramirez and husband Juan of San Angelo; brothers, Willie Torres Sr. and wife Lidia, Roy Torres and wife Raquel, all from San Angelo, Eddie Maldonado and wife Sally, and her sister, Becky Maldonado, all from San Antonio; her aunt, Estolia Barron and Uncle Raul Barron Sr., from San Angelo, who she loved as her parents; as well as her cousins who she loved as brothers and sisters, Mark Valdez and wife Blanca, from San Angelo, Vianna Madrid, from Robert Lee, Debra Torres and husband Raymond, and Raul Barron Jr., from Arlington; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who she dearly loved.
Pallbearers will be Juan Ramirez III, Willie Torres, Jr., Michael Torres, Lupe Torres, Billy Wayne Torres, and Joshua Borg.
The family of Sally Torres wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses and Shannon Hospital and to all the family and friends who have reached out to show their love and support.
