SAM BAZE

Sam Baze, 85, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in a local hospital. Sam was born to Boyd and Gladys (Brister) Baze on May 29, 1924 in Mertzon, Texas. He married Nonie Mason on October 19, 1990 in Mertzon and was a trucker driver. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII. Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Mertzon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Sam was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Baze. Survivors include his wife Nonie; son, Wayne Baze and his wife Teina of San Angelo; daughters, Barbara Marburger and her husband Kenneth of San Angelo; Julie Miller and her husband Jackie of Big Spring; Marissa Carter and her husband John of San Angelo; Jan Dodson and her husband Olen of Brownfield; grandchildren, Jason Baze and his wife Kirsten of Austin; Michael Reece of Carlsbad; and Samantha Wilcox of San Angelo; and Jaqlyn Miller.
