Samuel T. "Red"� Garza, 77, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in a local hospital. Rosary will be 5:00 PM Friday February 12, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday February 13, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Rodney White, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Red was born May 8, 1932 to Juan and Maria Torres Garza. He worked as a barber and a carpenter, but was mostly known for his skill as an auto mechanic. He married Yolanda Guevarra in San Angelo and they were very happily married until her death. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his sons; Samuel Garza Jr. of San Angelo, Ray and his wife, Pat of Dallas; daughter, Linda Joeda and husband, Noe of San Angelo; sister, Felicitas Armenta of Arizona; brothers; Juan Garza and wife, Edna of California, Clemente Garza and wife, Loisa of Arizona, Nacho Garza of San Angelo, Lee Garza and wife, Rhonda of Arizona; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
