Sandy Valero Sandy Valero, 35 of San Angelo passed away Saturday January 07, 2012 at an area care center. Viewing will start at 8am on Tuesday with rosary at 7pm Tuesday January 10, 2012 at the Robert Massie Riverside chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be 2 pm Wednesday January 11, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Roy Ibarra, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetary. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Sandy was born December 11, 1976 in San Angelo to Ben and Olga Renovato Valero. She graduated from Central High School. Although Sandy suffered the majority of her life with illness, she lived her life to the fullest. She always found time to smile and make others laugh. Sandy was blessed with one daughter. When she discovered she was pregnant eleven years ago, she was advised by the same doctors that had saved her life to end her pregnancy. Childbirth would not only cost her her life but also that of her unborn child. Sandy chose to give it to God and let His will be done. Diamond Marie was born healthy and was the joy of her life. They shared eleven precious years together and loved and laughed together. Sandy is preceded in death by her grandparents; Ruben and Estella Renovato and Ben and Catherine Valero. Pallbearers will be Jesse Herrera, Sammy Herrera, Noel Leon, Eric Rocha, Ben Aldaba and Jimmy Gonzales. Survivors include her daughter; Diamond Marie Valero, parents; Ben and Olga Valero all of San Angelo; sisters; Lisa Hernandez of Garland, Joanna Camarena; brothers; Sammy Herrera, Jesse Herrera and wife Monica, all of San Angelo; several uncles and aunts and numerous neices and nephews.
