Santos Ruiz Garcia

Santos R. Garcia, 96, of San Angelo, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 26, 1918 to Tranquelino and Cipriana (Perez) Ruiz in Georgetown, Texas. She married Rosendo Garcia on June 21, 1934 in San Angelo and was homemaker. She also was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. A prayer service will be at 7:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Helen Maxwell of Iglesia Metodista Unida Betel. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Candelario Sanchez Jr.; officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Candelario Sanchez II; Danny Nunez; Cipriano Garcia, Jr.; Ricky Monchais; Ernie Morales; and David Ruiz. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, and a brother. Santos is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Liz) Martinez and her husband Efrain; Irene Morales, Raquel Garcia, Gloria Garcia; Step-daughter, Aurora Gregory; Stepson, Cecil Garcia; Sons, Rosendo Garcia Jr. and his wife Alicia, Frank Ruiz and his wife Elida, Cipriano Garcia, and grandchildren, Daniel Sanchez, Candelario Sanchez Jr. and wife Sylvia; Danny Ray Nunez and his wife Lucy; Cipriano Garcia Jr., and his wife Sue; Oscar Garcia; Ricky Moncibais; Ernie Morales and his wife Brandy; David Ruiz and his wife Maria; Debra Miller and her husband Bill; Doreena Sanchez and her husband Juan; Myra Robles and her husband Ben; Diana Alcala and her husband Sergio; Julie Deanda; Paula Ruiz; Estella Cruz and her husband John; Diana Sanchez; Cecil Garcia Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; and Rosa Elva Grimaldo; Mario Garcia and his wife Ruth; Natalie Pacheco and her husband Joe; Margo Ballinger and her husband Jeff.
