Severo G. DeLeon Jr., 54, of Mertzon, passed away Monday, March 27 in San Angelo. Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM, April 1, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Severo was born May 18, 1951 in San Angelo to Severo and Angelita DeLeon. He worked as a truck drive for Shelton Oil and Gas for numerous years. Severo will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Steve DeLeon. Survivors are: Mother:Angelita M. DeLeon of San Angelo Son:Ricky DeLeon of Huntsville Daughter:Beatrice Irle and husband Lee of Grape Creek Daughter:Sara Rodriguez and husband, Paul Both of San Angelo Son:Severo J. DeLeon and wife, Dreama of Mertzon Son:John DeLeon of Hurst, TX Mother of children: Coleen Lindberg of MO Sisters:Paz Ramirez, Beatrice Rodriguez, Rebecca Garza, Irene Torres, Genevieve Chavez, Mary DeLeon and Margret Rodriguez Brothers:Mathew DeLeon, Abram DeLeon, Raul DeLeon, Gregory DeLeon, Severo DeLeon and Daniel DeLeon. Four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mathew DeLeon, Abram DeLeon, Raul Deleon, Gregory DeLeon, Severo DeLeon, John DeLeon, Dave West and Lee Irle.
