Sharon Ann Ford Tackett Sharon Ann Ford Tackett, 67, of San Angelo entered into glory on Tuesday June 28, 2011 in Shannon Medical Center surrounded by her beloved mother and close friends. The visitation will start at 5:00 pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday July 1, 2011 - Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday July 2, 2011 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Maurice Voity officiating and assisted by Deacon Thomas Giovannitti. Following the Mass, burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rich Diaz, Freddie Moore, Pat Bales, Gary Summers, Mike Bodiford, and Charles Ahern. Sharon was born on May 8, 1944 in San Angelo Clinic Hospital to Frank and Mary F. (Ware) Ford. She attended Angelo Catholic School and graduated from Central High School in 1962. She completed two years at a local college. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Ronda Ann Tackett-Sites and an exceptional daughter to Mimi. She worked at Armstrong-Backus Accounting Firm for 30 years, her last 10 years as administrative assistant. During part of this period she served as president of the Business Professional and Women's Association. Sharon was a devoted catholic serving in various ministries. These included president of the parish counsel and finance committee. She was also a Eucharistic minister, lector, chairman of fall festivals at the Cathedral of the Sacred Catholic Church. She also served as school president of Angelo Catholic Schools. She is preceded in death by father, Frank Ford; and her daughter, Ronda Ann Tackett-Sites. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary "Mimi" F. Ware-Ford of San Angelo; and many many friends.
