Sidney Lewis Lumbley, 87, of San Angelo, passed away on November 14, 2006 in Cedar Hill, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, November 18 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home with Pastor Lakan Mariano of College Hills Baptist Church officiating. Burial services will follow at the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Sid, as known by his friends and loved ones, was born on August 2, 1919 in Eden, Texas to parents William and Susan Lumbley. He attended school in Eden, Texas. Sid married Laura Savage on August 1, 1942 in San Angelo, Texas. Laura passed away in May 1970. Sid married Mary Dodd on August 1, 1979. Mary passed away in July 2003. Sid was founder and owner of Caddo Street Wheel Alignment for 32 years. He served in the Army and was a veteran of World War II. Sid attended College Hills Baptist Church. Sid is preceded in death by Laura Lumbley, Mary Lumbley and son Ed Lumbley. Sid is survived by his son David Lumbley; stepson Bill Dodd and stepdaughter Kathy Moseley; grandchildren Sidney David Lumbley, Michael Lumbley, Laura Lumbley Dodson, Ryan Lumbley, Michael Dodd, Nicholas Dodd and Billy Dodd; great-grandchildren Sydney Lumbley, Alicia Lumbley, Sarah Lumbley, Ayden Lumbley, Katie Lumbley and Austin Dodson. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Sid wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Cloyd Burson, who took over Sid's business after he retired. Cloyd was like a son to Sid.
