Stanley Lewis Murphy

Stanley "Stan" Lewis Murphy Age 68 of San Angelo, died February 11, 2020. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15 at Belmar Baptist Church at 10:00 AM. Mike Burson will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Miles Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home Stan was born November 29, 1951, in Junction City, Kansas to Green Wesley and Avis Lightfoot Murphy. He served in the US Marines for four years. A multifaceted man, he enjoyed music of all types but especially Jimmy Hendricks. He also loved doing ceramics and arts and crafts of any kind. His favorite time was that spent with his loved ones, he cherished the time spent with them. He is survived by his children Crystal Murphy of San Angelo and Shawn Murphy of Abilene; his sister, Fran Murphy Rohrbach of San Angelo; his brother, Wesley Murphy Jr of Humble; and his grandchildren, Mercedes Williams, Emily Murphy and McKenzie Murphy.
