Stella Monita Ingle Jones

Stella M. Jones, 95, of Mineral Wells, passed away on June 1, 2017 in San Angelo, TX. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 1:00 pm at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville, TX., with Rev. Howard Martin of First United Methodist Church of Stephenville officiating. Stella Mattie Monita Ingle Jones was born on October 5, 1921 to James A. and Eva Marie (Thomas) Ingle in Lexington OK. She graduated from Sudan, TX. high school in 1940. She married Jack Farris in April 1943 in Lubbock. He passed away in 1972. She later married Douglas Jones in December 1980 in Chickasha, OK and he passed away in November 2003. Stella worked at being a mother and at many retail businesses during her lifetime, retiring at age 84. She was a member of the Sturdivant Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. She was the 11th of 12 children and all of her siblings preceded her in death. Stella is survived by her two sons; Ronald A. Farris and wife, Shirley of Riverside CA. and Jack W. Farris and wife, Jane of San Angelo, TX; She is also survived by four granddaughters and a great-grandson, four nieces and five nephews. The family wish to express our loving thanks to the staff of Baptist Retirement Center in San Angelo Division 5 and the Sagecrest Unit for the dedicated and loving care for our mother.
