T. W. "Papa T" Bridges

T. W. "Papa T" Bridges, 90 of Robert Lee died Thursday March 24, 2011 in Odessa. Military graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brad Dietz, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home He was born February 24, 1921 in Marietta, Mississippi to Tint and Nancy J. (Barnes) Bridges, served in WWII and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. T. W. married Annie Grace Fesperman on March 15, 1943 in San Angelo, TX. She passed away in 2003. T. W. drove for American Mayflower Moving Co for over forty years and was instrumental in teaching many others the trade. He was a member of Edmund Boulevard Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Pauline Dees and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Although he had no children of his own, he was known as "Papa T" to all his loved ones. Memorials in honor of Papa T may be made to the Hospice House Foundation 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, TX. 79761 or to Edmund Boulevard Baptist Church of San Angelo.
