Talbot Zilman Goodgion

Talbot Zilman "TZ" Goodgion, 85 of Miles TX., formerly of Roswell NM., passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013 at his residence. Viewing will be 10:00am to 8:00pm on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday May 2, 2013 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel in San Angelo, TX., with Chaplain Grady Summers of Interim Hospice, officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 at Miles Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. TZ was born June 24, 1927 in Shallowater, TX., to Talbot Z. and Mamie Belle (Mc Clachey) Goodgion. TZ worked as a chemical salesman and many other sales jobs related to the oil field. He worked as an insurance salesman early in life for Reliable Life Insurance Company. TZ was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army. He married Jo Ann Edwards in Lubbock on December 21, 1952 and they shared almost sixty wonderful years together. They enjoyed going to the cabins at Mayhill and Ruidoso NM. Pallbearers will be Ricky, Kent, Randall, Landon, K.C. Goodgion and Chance Simmons. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother and three sisters. Survivors include his three sons; Ricky Goodgion of Carlsbad, NM., Randall Goodgion and wife, Judy of Miles, Kent Goodgion of Carlsbad, NM.; daughter; Annyce Brauch and husband, Steve of Key West, FL.; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; his children from a prior marriage, Barbara and Ronnie; brother; Odie Goodgion of Albuquerque, NM.; two sisters; Liza Diffey of San Angelo and Roberta West of Abilene, TX., and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the Dr.s, nurses and staff at Interim Hospice for the loving care shown to our family.
