Teddie E. Herreman Teddie E. Herreman, 93, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at a local nursing home. Family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev Ellen King of VistaCare Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Teddie was born March 15, 1918 in Callahan County to Harvey and Emma Gilbert. The family lived in Cisco until 1930 when they moved to San Angelo. Teddie graduated from San Angelo High School and San Angelo Business College. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of San Angelo. Teddie married Earl Truman Herreman on April 22, 1938 in San Angelo. She and her husband raised their family of two children, David Herreman and Helen Herreman Martin in San Angelo. Teddie worked outside the home as a secretary to the Tom Green County agent and for the Home Demonstration agent for twelve years. She accepted the position of highway patrol secretary for the Department of Public Safety in San Angelo until she retired. After retirement she was a homemaker and a caretaker for family members. She was known for her love of children. Many young children asked her to be their "San Angelo" grandmother. Teddie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Truman Herreman, her parents Harvey and Emma Gilbert, one sister, LaRue Rotramel and one brother, Eldon Gilbert. Survivors include Son David Herreman and wife Carol of Lewisville, Texas. Daughter, Helen Martin and husband Recil of San Angelo. Four grandchildren, Cindy Bausch, Steve Martin, Camille Belknap and Chandler Herreman. Great grandchildren are Jacob and Joshua Belknap. Courtney and Thomas Martin. Michael Reel, Ashely and Ruby Bausch. Teddie's family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Senior Care of San Angelo and Vista Care Hospice for their loving care.
