THOMAS "TOM" WINTON NASWORTHY

Thomas Winton "Tom" Nasworthy passed away Monday, May 01, 2006. Family visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Tom was born in San Angelo, April 4, 1933 to parents C.R. "Dick" Nasworthy and Vera Lumpkin. He was a cowboy from the start and through his lifetime ranched in Tom Green, Menard, Kimble and Concho counties. He loved to rope and was a calf and steer roper in area rodeos. He used his welding talents as a spur maker and through the years made over 50 pairs of spurs for friends and family, all as gifts. He was a Master Mason with over 25 years in the Ft. McKavett Masonic Lodge #750. He married his wife Mary, June 20th, 1988 and they made their home overlooking the South Concho River below Lake Nasworthy. He is survived by his wife, Mary Tiller Nasworthy; sister Virginia Lynn of San Angelo, daughter Patricia Nasworthy of Ft. Worth; son T.D. Nasworthy and wife, Donna of Leakey; daughter Ginger Morehead and husband, Jesse of Menard; daughter Madolyn Nasworthy and Shawna Hampton of Houston; step-daughter Karen Garcia and husband, Johnny of Irving; step-daughter Glenda Bellar and husband, Paul of Dallas; step-son Terry Kellum of Dallas, cousin John Nasworthy and wife, Mae of San Angelo; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
