Tom H. "Big O" Delgado, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Odessa. Rosary will be 6:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Joey Foylona, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Tom was born on June 17, 1944 to the late, Jose Gonzales Delgado and Maria Dejesus Hernandez Delgado in Ballinger Texas. He lived the majority of his adult life in Odessa. Tom worked in construction for most of his life. He worked for Jones and Cupps for several years. Tom then branched out on his own and ran his own dump truck business out of his home for several years. After a brief retirement, Tom rejoined the work force, and for the last 10 years or so he worked for Lydick-Hooks roofing company out of Midland, Texas. When Tom was not working you could be sure he was doing something golf related. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed playing a round of golf or sitting and watching the golf channel on his spare time. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Jose Delgado, Fred Delgado and Albert Delgado. Survivors include his two sons, Thomas and Lisa Delgado, Jr. and Jerry and Michele Delgado all of San Angelo; eight grandchildren; Erik, Monica, Joseph, Sierra, Makayla, Alayni, Cayli, and Alyssa. Nine siblings; Lupe Ramirez of Amarillo, Mary Zapata, Gloria Guevara, Victoria Delgado, Anita Davis, Mary Lou LaMura all of San Angelo, Carolina Delgado of Las Vegas, Jesse Delgado and Lillie Ellefson both of Arizona. Tom's family would like to give a special thank you to Barbara Mathis for always being a true friend and companion. The family would also like to thank Cole Jones and his family for always looking out and caring for their father.
