TOM H. QUINNEY

Tom Henry Quinney, 73, of Big Lake passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in a local hospital. Tom was born on June 22, 1936 in Floresville, Texas to William and Nettie Rodgers Quinney. He married Joyce Dunlap on July 14, 1966 in Brownfield, Texas and was a tool pusher for F.W.A. Drilling Company. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 17, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Glenn Rest Cemetery in Big Lake. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Glenn Rest Cemetery with Rev. Donald Pryor officiating. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary Quinney and Hazel Short; brothers, J.O. Quinney and Ira Quinney. Tom is survived by his wife, Joyce of Big Lake; daughters, Charrletta Collins; Crystal Quinney; and Michelle Quinney all of Big Lake; brothers, Ernest Quinney of Delight, AR; Roy Quinney of Gurdon, AR; and Jesse Quinney of Alice; sisters, Adell Quinney of Brownfield; Pearl Jones of Brownfield; Viola Martin of Tye; and Carolyn Jarrell of Delight, AR; grandchildren, Calvin Bruce Collins, Jr.; Carley Joe Jackson; Brady Thomas Jackson; Jaelyn Joy Reyes; Milachi Andrew Mitchell; and Kamden Tye Taylor.
