Trinidad was born in San Angelo on July 21, 1978. He graduated Central High School. From high school age, he had a fascination with gambling... always thinking, he was going to hit it big on the next throw of the dice. He had a passion for working on Lowrider cars and belonged to the local car club "New Impressions" always bumping to rap music, 3 wheeling, working on car stereos, taking his kids fishing and he was one of the greatest all around cooks. He worked at several restaurants in town along his sister, including his favorite, Nacho's Restaurant. You must understand that Trini or Big Pun as he was better known by his friends, was a big presence in stature and personality. Everything he did was supersized... and that sometimes meant he had to take the good along with the bad of everyday decisions he made. And he did. He always looked towards to future and didn't get caught up in past mistakes and he encouraged others to do the same. He lived his life joyously and spread love and laughter everywhere he went. He never met a stranger, and he could BS with the best of them! Trinidad was the epitome of a big teddy bear. His family was the world to him, he loved being surrounded by them and he was acutely aware of the importance of family. He was loved by everyone, and for those left behind, there is BIG whole left in their hearts and lives.
Trinidad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Israel, and Anita Leal; a brother, Jose Reyes; an aunt, Genie Villanueva; and his uncles, John Leal, Israel David Leal Jr., and Amando Leal.
He is lovingly survived by his parents; Eddie and Delfie Flores; his children Trinidad Daryl Dehoyos, Ryan Orlando Dehoyos, Aryana Aleyna Dehoyos, Aaron Isaiah Dehoyos, Francisco Emilio Flores Dehoyos, and Mykayla Alizae Flores Dehoyos; his sister Debbie Cano and husband Leandro; his brothers, Anthony Valencia and his partner Krissten Diliberto, Eddie Flores Jr, and Rocky Flores and his wife Andrea; his partner in life, Martha Garza; his aunt Sandy Ontiveros and her husband Fred and Anita Leal; and by his nieces and nephews, Carlie, Ayven, Marcus, Adabella, Leandro, Jacob, Jacob, Alexis and Mason.
