TRINIDAD "TRINI" MARTINEZ SERRANO

Trinidad "Trini" Martinez Serrano, 86, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005, at a local hospital. Rosary service will be held at 7pm Monday at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mass of Christian service will be at 10am Tuesday at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church. Reverend Joseph Choutapalli will be officiating the services. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Trini was born June 15, 1919, in San Angelo to Jose Maria and Rumalda Martinez. Trini married Albert Serrano on October 13, 1940, and raised a family with much love and care. She was a devoted wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Trini was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her daughter Carmen and her siblings, Cecil Martinez, Balente Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Mite Martinez Hernandez, Andrea Perez and Mary Gonzales. She is survived by her daughter Rosa Cedillo and husband Gilbert; son, Albert M. Serrano and wife, Mary Lou; grandchildren, Barbara Medellin and husband Herberto, Andy Cedillo, Laura Sosa and husband Joey, all of San Angelo, Gilbert Cedillo Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jesse Sr. and wife, Anna of San Antonio and Albert J. Serrano and wife, Estrid of London, England; Robert Serrano of San Antonio, Raymond Serrano, Melissa Borja and husband Joey all of San Angelo. Great-grandcihldren, Trina Marie Medellin, Serena Sosa, Nolan Sosa, Raymond Serrano Jr., Alazae Serrano, Aliyah Serrano, Eric Serrano, Nadia Borja all of San Angelo and Jesse Serrano Jr., Joel Serrano both of San Antonio. She is also survived by her brother Paul Martinez Sr. of Amarillo. She will be carried to her final resting place by her grandsons, Andy Cedillo, Gilbert Cedillo Jr., Jesse Serrano Sr., Herberto Medellin, Joey Sosa and her nephew Hector Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Great-grandsons, Jesse Serrano Jr., Joel Serrano, Nolan Sosa and Raymond Serrano Jr. Hold your parents dear because the world will be a strange and lonely place when they are gone.
