VETA IVY

Veta Marie Ivy, age 89, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2005 in Farmers Branch surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2005 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Ben Hubert of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow services in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Veta was born on October 10, 1915, in Okeegee, OK to Charlie and Bertha Evans Ladd. Veta Ladd married Charles Ivy in Iraan, TX in 1935; he preceded her in death on January 1, 1995. She was a loving devoted wife and mother. She was a resident of San Angelo for over 50 years and First Christian Church was her church home for many of those years. Veta is survived by her son, Lynn Ivy and wife, Mary Ann of Farmers Branch, TX; a brother, Donald Marion Ladd of Orem, UT and numerous nieces and nephews.
